OPF Series fiber Optic Detectors
The OPF series, from Optek Technology, are a family of fiber optic detectors. They consist of a low noise silicon PIN photodiode within a package designed for fiber optic applications. The OPF series offers high speed and low capacitance, improving the signal to noise ratio for standard short haul LAN applications. Compatible LEDs and laser modules include those with a 800-1000 nm wavelength. Suitable applications for the OPF fiber optic detectors include; industrial Ethernet equipment, copper-to-fiber media conversion, instra-system fiber optic links and video surveillance systems.
