Innovative and easy to use - DocAction II
With the DocAction II and MacAction II software included in delivery, the user can start the scanning process with just one press of a button together with the One Touch function keys on the device. A total of 9 individual scan profiles can be configured for this, including scan settings such as quality and processing, storage location, file format and much more. The revised and redesigned user interface with many function settings guides the user to the desired result with just a few clicks using an innovative menu navigation.

Saving in FTP environments
With the PS186 it is possible to save scanned files directly to an FTP server. Effective, convenient storage and sharing of scanned documents can be done in no time and offers a variety of options thanks to the widespread use of FTP.

Barcode scan
The PS186 recognizes barcodes in scanned documents and can process them. The barcode number can therefore easily be used as a file name to enable simple and clear file management.

Plustek DocAction II
With the included Plustek DocAction II software, 9 different scan profiles can be configured: including determining the storage location and processing such as FTP upload, local storage, or creating a copy and much more. It is also possible to scan and save documents directly in all common image formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, MULTI-TIFF, BMP and PDF. The profiles can then be accessed with just one tap of the finger using the One Touch function button on the device. DocAction II also has many other features, such as auto-rotation, auto-density, character optimization, blank page removal, and punch removal. The new user interface has been revised compared to the previous DocAction software in order to make the configuration settings even easier, faster and more user-friendly.

Plustek MacAction II
The Plustek MacAction II software, which is also included in the scope of delivery, is aimed at all Mac users and the Mac OS operating systems. The functions of DocAction II are also available in MacAction II, but with even more detailed configuration options.
